After smelting your first Iron Ore batch into Metal Components at the Ore Smelter, craft the Dog Bowl (Basic Workbench), a second Garden Bed, and a Gear Part stack (needed for Upgraded Motor). These three items set up your economic engine for the Meadows phase.

How do I unlock the Advanced Workbench in Outbound?
Find the Dense Forest Large Campsite POI and open the blueprint chest in the main building. The Advanced Workbench is not purchasable โ€” it must be found in the field. You need the Upgraded Motor to efficiently navigate Dense Forest trails.

What materials do I need for the Mountain Motor in Outbound?
The Mountain Motor is purchased at the Mountain Trading Post Base Camp and costs 14ร— Summit Alloy + 10ร— Motor Unit + 4ร— Power Core. Summit Alloy is smelted from Advanced Metal + Ice Crystal; Power Core is found in Mountain Machinery Wrecks.

Where do I get Crystal Lens for Tier 3 Solar in Outbound?
Crystal Lens is mined from the Crystal Cave POI in the northeast Arid Desert biome. You can also occasionally find it in high-tier Supply Crates, but the Crystal Cave is the only reliable renewable source.

What is the best food buff in Outbound?
The Alpine Broth (+60% all resistances, 40 minutes) and Coastal Stew (full stamina + 20% overflow, 30 minutes) are the top late-game foods. For early-to-mid game, Van Breakfast (+15% all stats) is the best all-purpose option and easy to craft in bulk.
